How to read your result

Your raw score is mapped to the 100-200 GED reporting scale, where 145 is passing. Because Science leans on reasoning rather than recall, a low first score often reflects reading speed rather than missing knowledge. Check whether your wrong answers cluster in one content area or spread evenly — clustered errors mean study a topic, scattered errors mean slow down and re-read the stimulus.

Pacing

Ninety minutes for roughly 34 questions gives you about two and a half minutes each, which is generous until a long passage appears. Read the question stem before the passage when a chart is involved; you will know what to look for and can skip the parts that do not matter.

Short-answer items on the official test ask you to write a brief evidence-based response. This practice set is multiple choice, so pair it with written practice: pick any question here and write two sentences explaining how the evidence supports your answer.
