Comparing your Test 1 and Test 2 scores
Because the two sets cover the same three skill areas with different questions, a consistent score across both is strong evidence you are ready. A large swing in either direction is worth investigating: check whether the same skill area caused most of your errors both times.

Return to the passage on every reading question
On every reading question, the correct answer is defensible with a specific line of text. If you cannot point to that line, return and look again before choosing. The most common wrong answer is a statement that sounds reasonable but is not stated or implied in the passage.
For grammar items embedded in a passage, read the full sentence in context before evaluating the underlined portion. A choice that looks correct in isolation can create a tense or agreement error once the surrounding sentences are factored in.
