What this site is

GED Study Test is a free practice resource for people preparing for the GED high school equivalency exam. It provides multiple-choice practice questions across all four GED subjects—Mathematical Reasoning, Science, Reasoning Through Language Arts, and Social Studies—with instant scoring, worked explanations, and topic drills.

Scores are reported on the same 100–200 scale the official test uses so you can measure progress toward the 145 passing line in the same terms you will see on test day. Every question on the site is free. An optional upgrade removes ads for 30 days.

Who writes the questions

All practice questions on this site are written specifically for GED Study Test. They are not reproduced from any official GED test, past or present, and they are not sourced from GED Testing Service or the American Council on Education. Each question is reviewed against the publicly available GED content indicators to ensure the topic and difficulty are appropriate for the exam level.

Distractors are built from the specific errors that test takers commonly make on each topic—sign errors in algebra, diameter–radius confusion in geometry, misreading a passage in reading comprehension—so that working through the explanations builds the habits that matter on the real test, not just recognition of the right answer.
